Here’s my attempt at a Cooking Poem:

“spaghetti & meatballs”

anyone can boil spaghetti
& throw store-bought meatballs on top
(or heat up some Chef Boyardee)
yes, people can boil spaghetti
like some ramen noodles you see
though it won’t make your taste buds stop
anyone can boil spaghetti
& throw store-bought meatballs on top

but i break bread in small pieces
& season them meatballs just right
for all my nephews & nieces
for breaking bread in small pieces
offers that touch that appeases
in food that’s anything but light
so i break bread in small pieces
& season them meatballs just right
