IELTS test in China – April 2018 (Academic Module)

IELTS test in ChinaListening test

Section 1. A lady called to inquire about rental property.

Section 2. An introduction about services and facilities provided by a health club.

Reading test

Passage 1. About famous baobab trees in Madagascar.
Questions: filling in blanks, True/False/Not Given.

Passage 2. About different business innovations.
Questions: filling in blanks, match headings to paragraphs.

Passage 3. Don’t remember.

Writing test

Writing task 1 (a report)

We were given a graph showing the number of new homes built in a particular region in the UK from 2010 until now, and showing prediction for homes to be built by the end of 2020.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

In the modern world it is possible to shop, work and communicate with people via internet and live without any face-to-face contact with others. Is it a positive or negative development in your opinion? To what extent do you support this development?
