I have a few favorite online-only poetry publications. One of the more unique publications is this week’s spotlight market: Linebreak.
Linebreak: Monday Market Spotlight
What’s so special about Linebreak? Well, hey, any place that publishes poetry is special in my book, but what makes Linebreak stand out, I guess, is their emphasis on the line, including, yes, how it breaks.
Their aim is a weekly poem, and they’ve built an archive of 350+ poems–all read by another poet (different than the author of the poem). That in itself is an interesting twist as well–having the poems read by another poet in their own reading style.
Anyway, it’s easy to get lost reading the poems over there, but if you think–after much reading–your poems fit there, you can submit throughout the year via Linebreak’s Submittable account. Click here to read their full guidelines.

Find Hundreds of Great Markets!
The 2016 Poet’s Market, edited by Robert Lee Brewer, includes hundreds of poetry markets, including listings for poetry publications, publishers, contests, and more! With names, contact information, and submission tips, poets can find the right markets for their poetry and achieve more publication success than ever before.
In addition to the listings, there are articles on the craft, business, and promotion of poetry–so that poets can learn the ins and outs of writing poetry and seeking publication. Plus, it includes a one-year subscription to the poetry-related information on WritersMarket.com. All in all, it’s the best resource for poets looking to secure publication.
